I remember reading somewhere that a large percentage of deaths from automobile accidents could be prevented if people in cars had to wear helmets as well. We all know how likely it is that a law like that will ever be passed. It’s those dangerous bikers who have to be restrained for their own good.

1. Most motorcycle accidents involve a cager causing the incident. In that case, medical costs are paid out of a settlement between the injured and the responsible party, or the auto insurer.

2. There are far more people getting hurt in car accidents. Perhaps there ought to be law to make cagers wear helmets. It would relieve a huge burden on the Public Healthcare system.
