Day 1
わー!飛行機がいっぱーい!凜ちゃんの乗る飛行機はどれ?
Look at all the planes! Which one is Lin's?
さ、荷物を運んで飛行機に乗ろうー。
I'll push the carry-ons to the plane.
シアトル到着後,ひと眠りしてからグランマと遊ぶ。
After arriving and taking a quick nap, Lin plays with Grandma.
Day 2
メガンも来てくれて楽しー!
Meghan came over to play.
メガンとボールで遊んだよ。
Meghan's good at playing catch.
夜寝る前にグランマに本を読んでもらう。
Grandma and Lin read a book.
Day 3
ベンの両親の教会に行ったときに託児室で凜を預かってもらう。
帰るときには「もっとお兄さんと遊びたいー」って言ってました。
Lin played in the church's nursery while Mommy and Daddy went to the service.
When it was over, Lin said, "I want to play some more."
NBAの試合を観戦しに行ったよ!
シアトルのチームのソニックスが勝って「やったー!」
Lin goes to her first NBA game.

Day 4
両親の家の猫の置物をすべて集めて「はい写真撮ってー」だって。
Lin collected all the cat ornaments in the house and lined them up.
グランマと魚の本で遊ぶ。
Grandma and Lin look at the fish book.
Day 5
ダウンタウンにある「チルドレンズミュージアム」に遊びに来たの。
一緒にトンネルに入ってみる?
Lin explores the Children's Museum at Seattle Center.
「ごんにぢばー」

メキシコ料理屋でおままごと
Lin runs a taco shop.
「はい、タコス1つですね。ありがとうございます」
One taco coming up!
フードコートに置いてある車を乗り回す。
Lin test drives the cars in the food court.
「いえーい!超楽しいー」
Yeah!
普通1月のシアトルは雨ばかりだというのに、こんな良い天気の日が多かったなあ。
スペースニードルとその下にある大きな大きな噴水
The forecast for the week was for typical January Seattle rainy weather, but we had several warm and sunny days.
噴水が止まった隙を見て触りに行く。
Lin hurries to touch the fountain between songs.
それー!急いで戻らなきゃー!
The music started. Run away!
噴水の所で遊んでいてお友達になった男の子
凜はこの子の後をずっとついてまわってたよ。
Lin made friends with the other kids playing by the fountain.
お兄ちゃんも来て皆で「噴水すごーい!」
This fountain is cool.
ベン家のネコ「きち」に初体面「初めましてよろしくね。」
Kichi finally calmed down enough to let Lin pet him.
外にあるジャグジーが大のお気に入りに。
皆で入ると楽しいねー。
I love Grandma & Grandad's Jacuzzi.
Day 6
「シアトル水族館」にて
見てー頭の上をお魚が泳いでるー!
At the Seattle Aquarium
大きなヒトデにちょっとびびる。
Now that's a big starfish.
小さいのなら触れるもんねー。
If they're little they're not so scary.
ニモと一緒に!
ドリーもいたんだけど一緒に撮れなかったんだ・・。
Lin with Nemo
きゃー!ブルースに食べられちゃう!
He's gonna eat me!
スペースニードルからモノレールに乗ってご飯を食べに行く。
Lin takes the monorail downtown for lunch.
凄い量の美味しそうな食事に「凜ちゃん全部食べられるからね!」
Once again, Lin has a hamburger for lunch.
「美味しー!」
凜はほぼ毎日チーズバーガーをお昼ごはんで食べてたよ。
Yummy!
But that's pretty big for a kid's meal.
スペースニードルの展望台にて

ベンが赤ちゃんの頃お気に入りだったカバのぬいぐるみ「ジョージ」に「ぎゅー!」
Lin with George, one of Daddy's favorite stuffed animals.
ねえ、ねえ、凜ちゃんとお友達になろ!

Day 7
ベンの友達のエイミーに異様になつく。
Lin and Amy hit it off right away.
マット、エイミー夫妻とパチリ。
Matt, Amy and Lin.
ただ1人時差ぼけが無かった人・・・。
羨ましかったなあ・・・。
それにしても、この寝相は酷い・・・。
Lin is the only one not suffering from jet lag.
Day 8
景色もいいし、昼間に入るジャグジーも最高!
Jacuzzi time
グランマのお姉さんサリーとボブ夫婦がアリゾナから凜ちゃんに会いにやってきた。
(Grand)Aunt Sally and (Grand)Uncle Bob came to vist from Arizona.
メガンとカード遊び。
思った以上に英単語を覚えていてびっくり!
Meghan quizzes Lin with flashcards.
家族みんなで晩御飯。

Day 9
ワシントン湖が一望できるベン家の裏庭でパチリ
Lake washington from the backyard
今日、日本へ帰りまーす。
We're going back to Japan already?
帰りの飛行機の中で録画してもらった「しまじろう」のビデオを食い入るように見ている凜。
このすぐ後に寝ちゃいました。
Lin concentrates on her video on the plane.
シアトル旅行すごく楽しかったよ!
じゃ、まったねー!
