今日は高津区民祭だよ！楽しみ！
Today's the Takatsu Festival! Yeah!
甚平着て、うちわ持って、お祭りルック完璧でしょ！
With my jimbei(traditional summerwear) and fan, I'm ready for anything.

マンションの前にあったまん丸の石の玉。凜は一生懸命動かそうとしてたよ。
Lin kept trying to roll the concrete globes outside Go & Kazu's new apartment building.
どうしても動かないの。
This one won't move either.
毎日暑いけど、凜ちゃんのこの顔見て頑張ってね！

Trip to Osaka
7/18
大阪に住んでいる友達、美花ちゃんと近所のスーパーへお買い物に行く。
Lin goes grocery shopping with her friend Mika who lives in Osaka.
大阪のスーパーって面白いね。
Supermarkets in Osaka are fun!
美花ちゃんちの風呂ってなんでこんなに広いの？
（お父さんが一緒に入ってないからかな？）
Why is Mika's bath so much bigger than at home?
(Probably because Daddy's not in it.)
凜：あたしのパンを食べていいよ。
美花：口がもういっぱいやっちゅうねん！
Lin： Here, Mika, you can have my bread.
Mika: But my mouth is full!

ウーチーが朝遊びに来ても凜はぐっすり
When Woochee came to visit Lin was still asleep
美花ちゃんは海遊館に行けてウキウキ
Mika is excited to go to the aquarium
海遊館にて
お父さん、あそこにサワガニがいるよ。
At the aquarium.
Hey Daddy, there are crabs over there.
でも甚平鮫を見る前に寝ちゃった
But she fell asleep before seeing the whale shark
外に出たらプレーリードッグがいた
when she got outside there was a prairie dog
プレーリードッグって海の生き物だっけ？
Hey, prairie dogs aren't marine mammals!
蒸し暑い大阪でのソフトクリームは美味しいね。
There's nothing like ice cream on a hot day.
ぐっすり美花ちゃんの分もあたしが食べといてあげるぅ。
Since Mika's asleep I'll eat hers too.

大阪ドラゴンボート大会
At the Osaka Dragon Boat Race
航平と愛沙と寝起きの凜

愛沙姉ちゃんと一緒がいい！

I like Kohei a lot too!
二人はよく凜の面倒を見てくれたよ。
三人でお散歩！
Kohei and Aisha took Lin for a walk.

青空が出てきて梅雨が明けたみたいだね。
Finally we see some blue sky, signalling the end of the rainy season(we hope).
カールおじさんに色と形を教えてもらう。
Uncle Carl teaches Lin shapes and colors.

近所の友達と公園で砂遊び
Lin makes mud pies with a boy from the neighborhood
やったぁ！砂遊びっておもしろい！
（この後毎日凜がこの公園に入るとすぐ砂を拾ってシーソーにまっしぐら。なにが面白いのやら）
We did it!
(After this whenever Lin goes to this park she grabs a handful of dirt and runs to the seesaw.)
近所のラッキーに会いに行くのが毎日の楽しみだ。
Lin looks forward to going to see neighborhood beagle Lucky every day.
ラッキーにとってはそんなに楽しみじゃないかも。
I'm not sure if Lucky looks forward to it though.
早く帰らないかなー。と言いたげなラッキー
Lucky: You can go home anytime now.
